For many (including us), Monaco Yacht Show is the landmark event in the superyacht calendar. Hosted annually in the tiny principality state of Monaco, the show is host to hundreds of suppliers and manufacturers from across the world, showcasing their offering to this glorious industry. Whilst afloat, countless superyachts are moored throughout Port Hercules and the surrounding anchorage, glistening in the Cote d'Azur sunshine, awaiting their next potential custodian, whether that be through charter or purchase. For us this year, our first new build project was on display to the industry, with our products in full view of everyone to feast their eyes upon.
On the evening prior to the show opening, our MD Adam Hunkin was kindly invited by SYR- Shoreside Superyacht Recruitment to the opening cocktail party hosted by Arrow Monaco & Oceanco at the exquisite Yacht Club de Monaco. With champagne and canapes flowing, he socialised and networked amongst the industry greats from brokerage firms to insurance brokers, owners reps and lawyers. It was a spectacular evening and one that will be cherished. Thank you Ed for the invite!
This year, Adam decided to spend more time at the show with a focus on discussing with clients about our New Build Yacht Supply department. It was great to visit our first new build project that we supplied the majority of her deck equipment to, just 7 months in from launching last year. To see this superyacht in all her glory, with the products that we supplied being used as they should was a fantastic!
